The Wetumka Class of 1962 will be holding their 60 class reunion on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in the fellowship hall at the Methodist Church in Wetumka. The doors will open at 10:00 a.m. and coffee and donuts will be served. The United Methodist Women will serve lunch.

Shirley Nero of Clearview spoke on the “Recognition of 13 Black Townships of Oklahoma and the keynote speaker was Major Dr. M. L. Jemison of Oklahoma City.

The group gathered at the Main Street Community Center at 6:30 p.m. on June 19, 2022, the actual day of Juneteenth for pizza, drinks, dessert, and games. It was a fun time for all. This may generate a monthly event instead of a yearly event to bring the citizens together.
