Service held for Regina Folger

Memorial services for Regina Lynn Folger, 57, of Roff were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Trinity Baptist Church in Ada, with Dr. Rusty Fuller officiating.

Mrs. Folger passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at her home. She was born August 10, 1961 at Holdenville to Don and Billie Stringfellow Leewright. She graduated from Holdenville High School in 1979 and East Central University in 1984.

Regina married Tony Folger March 14, 1981. Mrs. Folger taught many students “Abstinence before Marriage” for the Chickasaw Nation. She had a servant’s heart and spent a lifetime of service to children. Mrs. Folger was a member of the Roff First Baptist Church, was a good cook and especially enjoyed providing food for the hospitality room at high school basketball games at McLish and Roff.

Survivors include her husband, Tony, of the home; two sons, Matt Folger of Ada and Nate Folger and wife Danielle of Cleveland, OK; two grandchildren, Mallory and Heidi Folger; her mother, Billie Leewright of Holdenville; and three sisters, Peggy Beaty and husband Jim of Bayfield, CO, Terry Gaskins and husband Rodney of Edmond and Tonya Wyatt and husband Doug of Mustang; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father.
