She attended Paul Lawrence Dunbar Elementary School, George Washington Carver Junior High School, and Booker T. Washington School. She matriculated to Langston University at Langston, Oklahoma where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. She later received a Masters of Arts Degree and a Doctoral Degree from Oklahoma State University.

The breakfast will consist of (All-You-Can-Eat) pancakes and sausage! The event starts at 7:00 am and goes through 12:00 pm. Each plate costs $6.00. Children up to 5-years-old eat for free.
