Funeral services for Cecelia Ann Barnett were held Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Wetumka. Interment followed at the Wetumka Indian Baptist Church Cemetery. Wake services were Tuesday 6:00 8:00 PM also at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel.

WELEETKA HAS BEEN RAVAGED BY FIRES IN RECENT DAYS. Two house fires, along with the Masonic Building on Main Street in the quiet rural community, were a total loss. First responders from surrounding counties all came and assisted with the blaze downtown. The Masonic building, as well as the homes, were a total loss. No one was injured in the fires.
