This event, The Crown’s Tea, celebrates the rich tradition of church hats and is a tribute to the book, “Crowns: Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats” by Michael Cunningham and Craig Marberry. All attendees are encouraged to wear a fancy hat, their “Sunday Best: attire and prepare to enjoy amazing food and tea. Adults and adult-supervised youth are welcome.
