The retired presidents of colleges and universities met at the University of Central Oklahoma at Edmond for their bi-annual luncheon on October 8th. Chair Joanna Hibbler, retired president of Southwestern U n i v e r s i t y , invited the former governors to attend and participate in a panel discussion to their successes and challenges during their terms in offices. Former Chancellor of Higher Education Glen Johnson served as the moderator.

Her cousins once visited when her parents were alive and lived in Clearview and Okemah. They came back to relive old memories. While here, they toured the old home place and toured the new spots in Clearview such as the Oklahoma African American Educators Hall of Fame and the Welcome Center. Cousins from left to right: Patricial Brunson, Corranzo and LaTonya Lewis (Kansas City, Kansas) and Carroll Morris (San Jose, California). Corranzo is married into the family.
