Norma Faye Harden passed away Sunday, December 17th, 2023 at OU Medical Health Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 92.

Norma was born August 21st, 1931 in Stuart, Oklahoma to William “Bill” Millard McDonald and Emma Ethel (Holcomb) McDonald George. Norma was valedictorian of 8th and 12th grades and graduated from Calvin High School. She married Alvin Henry Harden March 27, 1949 in Van Buren, AR. She was very proud to have graduated from ECU with a Bachelors of Arts in English in 1982. Norma was very business minded, she managed her family cattle farm and also managed the independent mail trucking company. She taught school for a short time. Norma enjoy traveling, crocheting, reading, cooking, gardening, teaching Sunday school and spending time with her family. On a funny note, she did not like fishing!

Norma is preceded in death by her parents, husband Alvin Harden, daughter Vicki Faye Harden, and siblings; Jack, Tim, Elmer and Joe McDonald. She is survived by her children; Sheila Crawshaw of Calvin, Alvin Don Harden and wife Ruth of Oklahoma City, grandchildren; Vicky Faye Gonzalez, Amber Dawn Whitmer, Steven Don Crawshaw, and great grandson Draven Sullivan. Pallbearers are Joe Henry Harden, Greg Harden, Phillip Yancey, Bob Harden, Matt “Pedro” Gonzales and Larry Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are John Wayne Smith, Rex Hightower, Carl Collard and Doug Whitmer. Viewing will be 2:00pm-7:00pm, Tuesday, December 19th and 9:00am-7:00pm, Wednesday, December 20th at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Calvin Free Will Baptist Church with Don Harden officiating.

Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
