Evelyn May Osban

Evelyn May Osban passed away Monday, December 18, 2023 at SSM Health St Anthony Hospital in Midwest City, Oklahoma at the age of 83.

Evelyn was born July 9, 1940 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Julius Harold Lane and Lucy Mae (Maxwell) Lane. She married Eugene “Gene” Osban on August, 24, 1965 in San Jose, California. Evelyn and Eugene were sealed in the Dallas Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on May 5, 1998. Evelyn worked as an electronic technician. She enjoyed  the  outdoors,  fishing,  gardens, watching Perry Mason and Murder She Wrote. Evelyn enjoyed watching her favorite teams the San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, and OU when they played. She loved spending time with her family. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents; husband Gene Osban; brother Frank Lane; sister Joann; and one greatgrandchild.

She is survived by her children, Richard Osban and wife Peggy of Holdenville, Robert Osban and wife Leila of California, John Osban of Ada, Brenda Pires and husband Paul of Shawnee, and Maree Webb and husband Quinn of Utah; 11 grandchildren; 3 greatgrandchildren; and siblings Danny, Johnny, Ella, Pat, Laura and Gina. Evelyn is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
