Syb- al was born on October 13th 1939 in McAlester, Oklahoma to her parents, Winford Winfield Whittington and Bessie Lorine Whittington. Sybal went to Stonewall High School and later obtained her GED. In the summer of 1955 in Hobbs New Mexico, Sybal married the love of her life, Clarence William Prince. They shared forty two loving years together until Clarence's passing in April of 1997. Sybal loved the Lord with all of her heart, her life was a testament to that. She attended the Church of God in Ada for many years, and taught an adult sunday school class for forty three years. She and her husband, Clar- ence, sang and played in a gospel blue grass band called the Moonlighters.
