Read moreOn Sunday afternoon, the Clearview Brown Suggas and three spouses boarded the Nero van to travel to Tulsa to see the Black Broadway Tulsa Presents: “A Raisin in The Sun.” written by Lorraine Hansberry directed by David Harris. The production lasted approximately three hours. Afterwards, the group departed for a late evening dinner at “Fixins Soul Kitchen” in downtown Tulsa. There they met owner Kevin Johnson, former Phoenix Suns basketball player. It was a great evening for Marilyn Jackson, Rita Cooksey, Pat Johnson, Leslie Vick, Donnie and Shirley Nero, Claud and Elaine Evans, and Peter and Helen Bush.
