Marilyn Jackson, mayor of Clearview and member of the Clearview Brown Suggas Okfuskee County Home and Community Education group (OHCE) got creative and came up with her own design for displaying her 911 address. She reused a crate lid and attached painted wooden letters to the lid. Her landscaping rocks came from the hill behind her house. The sign is appropriately illuminated at night with solar lights.

If you haven’t heard, two sweet ladies, Amber Hunter and Michelle Rhinehart, are hosting a Thin Blue Line charitable event on August 15 at 5:00 pm -7:30 pm at Stroup park in Holdenville. The event is in honor, recognition, and support of all law enforcement. There will be free snowcones, food vendors, a band, a raffle drawing and kid friendly activities.
