Service held for Rev. Kenneth L. VanMeter

Rev. Kenneth L. VanMeter, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 90. He was born on October 19, 1930 in Hartshorne, OK to David VanMeter and Bessie (Emberson) VanMeter. He was a minister of the Gospel of Jesus and founded the Evangelistic Center in Henryetta along with his wife Lucille in 1965. He was preceded in death by his wife Lucille, his parents, sisters; Wanda Estep, Jean Johnson, and Ruby Baker, brothers; Vernon and David Jr. Kenneth is survived by his son, Norman VanMeter & wife Deloris of Henryetta, daughter, Elaine Foster and husband Sonny of Henryetta, grandchildren; Laura Lord and husband Doug of Seminole, Kent VanMeter and wife Vickie of Henryetta, Caleb VanMeter and wife Ginny of Henryetta, Lalena Owens and husband John of Henryetta, Delilah Lawson and husband Larry of Atlanta, Georgia, Chad Foster and wife Stacy of Seminole, and Brad Foster and wife Lela of Henryetta, 21 great-grandchildren, and numerous greatgreat grandchildren, one brother, Carl VanMeter and wife Linda of Weleetka, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the Evangelistic Center in Henryetta. Interment followed at Westlawn Cemetery. Services were under the direction and care of Integrity Funeral Service.
