On April 29 at 8:00 p.m., 220 Jack and Jill of America youth and parents departed Tulsa, Oklahoma to tour three of the thirteen original all-Black towns of Oklahoma. This group was just a fraction of a group of nearly seven hundred visiting the Greenwood District during the weekend.
Read moreThe town of Clearview recently developed a tourism plan to bring tourism to Clearview. There was a need to transport small groups of tourists around town to historic sites. Through a private donation, the town was able to purchase a covered trailer. The first use of the tourist trailer was in the Pioneer Days parade in Okemah.
