Clearview News: The city officials are asking everyone owning property to join in to clean their city plots and roadways. The Town of Clearview participated in the Oklahoma Great American Cleanup/Trash-Off on May 17, 2022, campaign to clean up their streets and cemetery. Groups divided cleaned the Main Streets and cleaned the Clearview Cemetery. Those in the cemetery removed old flowers and tree limbs in preparation for Memorial Day. All participants are sixty-plus years old. Those on Main Street removed trash from bar ditches. The town anticipates continuing the project throughout the year. The Great American Cleanup/Trash-Off supplied the vest, trash bags, gloves, and sign. Participants included left to right Earl French, Marilyn Jackson, Ethelene Scott, Patsy French, Alpheus Grundy, Marjorie Plunkett, Helen Bush, Peter Bush, Joyce Barrett, Donnie Nero, and Shirley Nero.

On May 15 , Donnie Nero celebrated his 73 birthday. He loves to fish but he had not spent time doing that. This year for his birthday, he dusted off his fishing tackle and he and Mr. Grundy went fishing and brought home the catch. Hopefully, will slow down, enjoy his cattle, and do more fishing. In addition to his ranching, Donnie is incredibly involved in the vitality of Clearview with improvement project. He spends many volunteer hours with county and state committees. But he is committed to his ministry of the Church of Christ.
