Former Drug Court Administrator charged with embezzlement

One felony count of embezzlement was filed in the District Court of Hughes County against Karen Denise Rowe, 56, on Tuesday, June 23. The felony document states that between January 2006 and December 2019, Rowe allegedly appropriated monies in excess of $2,500 but less than $15,000 that belonged to Hughes County Drug Court and had been entrusted to Rowe.
