The Town of Clearview Trustees met this week. Plans were discussed for future annexation, reorganization of the Oklahoma Black Town Mayors Conference, Old School Gym structural problems, Founder’s Day, street and road improvements, and grant possibilities. A represented from the Wes Watkins Technology Center in Wetumka will attend all town meeting and will assist in any projects the town my have. Guest from Wes Watkins this month was Burt Robinson. Anyone is welcome to attend the meetings. Next scheduled meeting is August 9 at 5 p.m. Please continue your prayers for those on the sick list Joyce Barrett, Sharon Johnson Patton, L. C. Carson, Marjorie Plunkett, Kurrilue Johnson, Billy Walker, Cornell Lucas, Eugene” Cowboy” Tyler, and Jean Chatman. Kevin Sinnett, our neighbor to the south is now cancer free but continue to pray for continued good health.

Now, he harvests copper wire from discarded electronic equipment to create trees into various shapes and sizes with or without decorations.
