She was born April 16, 1937 in Wichita, Kansas to Benjamin and Mertal Floyd and passed from this life January 11, 2022 in Dustin, Oklahoma at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her husband, Golden Arlie Smith, her parents Benjamin and Mertal Floyd, sisters Eva Coleman and Pearl Merriman, brothers J.B. Floyd and Ronald Lee Floyd, and a granddaughter Krista Flory.
