KADEE BRIDGER, MOSS HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR is number 24 on the Moss Softball team. She had a batting average of 406 during the fall fast pitch season. 96 at bats, 24 runs, 39 hits. RBI was 29. Kadee and the Moss Lady Pirates made it to the fast pitch state tournament where they earned state runner up. Their season record was 37-2. They were also: LRC tournament champs, kiowa-stuart tourney champs, new lima tourney champs, district and regionals champs. Kadee signed on February 1st, 2022 with Southwestern Christian University to play collegiate softball.

Emmanuel wanted to visit the state which represents a “cultural melting pot.” While in the State of Oklahoma, he visited in the towns of Tullahassee, Taft, and Clearview. In Tullahassee, he visited with Mayor Kesha Gaines, in Taft he visited with Mayor Vernon Curl and Former Mayor and current Councilwoman Lelia Foley Davis, and in Clearview, he visited with Mayor Marilyn Jackson and Trustee Donnie Nero, and Shirley Nero.

Read morePauline Paschal Laneer died on February 9, 2022, at age 103. She was born on January 18, 1919, in Wetumka, OK, to Lucille Lowder Pasachal and Claud Paschal. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loy Laneer, on January 13, 1993. Pauline is survived by her son, Larry Laneer, and a nephew and cousins. She lived most of her life in Wetumka until she moved to Norman, OK, on June 25, 2005.
