In 1910 or 1911, the town government was setup by incorporation. Precincts and Wards were established. The town’s people elected a mayor, a police officer, and a Justice of the Peace. At some point, the town lost its incorporation. on October 27, 1981, the town was reincorporated, and wards were set up.
