Spokogee Day Saturday, September 23rd

The annual Spokogee Day festival will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023. The parade will begin at 4:00 p.m. followed by the “Reenactment of the original Spokogee Gunfight" at 5:00 p.m. The Street Dance will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The Cold Justice Band will be playing live music!

Work continues with the old school grounds parking lot. Sympathy is extended to the Ted Jackson family. Services for Ted Jackson will be graveside at 10:00 a.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery in Weleetka and a Memorial service at the Clearview gymnasium following. All are welcome to attend both services. Johnny West is home form the hospital on hospice. Please say a special prayer for the family. Wilbert and Ida Mae Zackery are now home from the hospital and doing better. Please continue your prayers for those on our sick list: Taft Forshee, Tiger French, Wilbert and Ida Mae Zackery, Lloyd Samilton, Yolanda Jackson, Becki Stripling, Christopher Stripling, L.C. and Irene Carson, Marjorie Plunkett, and Earnest Hamilton.
