Early voting began yesterday, Wednesday October 30th for voters in Hughes County. Voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day, have the option of voting early at their County Election Board.

LONGTERM PARKING Some people left their car in the longterm parking at the airport while away, and someone broke into the car. Using the information on the car’s registration in the glove compartment, they drove the car to the people’s home and robbed it. So I guess if we are going to leave the car in long-term parking, we should NOT leave the registration and insurance cards in it, nor your remote garage door opener. This gives us something to think about with all our new electronic technology.

People across America are scared stiff as we are bombarded 24-hours a day with terrifying scenes splashed across television, our telephones and tablets. We can’t get away from the howls, screeches, growls, ghastly facial expressions and horned headed characters spewing menacing rhetoric. All of this has been brought to us by our Democratic and Republican parties.
