Lucinda Coachman

Lucinda Coachman was born on August 14, 1942, to Albert and Abbie Coachman. She passed from this life on October 18, 2025, in Tulsa.
She was a tribal member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. Lu was a lifetime member of the Wetumka Indian Baptist Church. She attended Haskell Indian Nations University. From there, she became an LPN and went to work for Dr. Cook in Sapulpa. After her time nursing, she worked at Liberty Bank in Tulsa for several years before relocating to Oklahoma City. She would eventually begin working for Muscogee (Creek) Nation in the housing division until her retirement.
Lucinda had a dear friend, Myron S., with whom she spent the last 20 years of her life with. They enjoyed travelling and each other's company. He was a constant companion and friend and very devoted to her.
Lu was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Abbie Coachman; her brothers, Guy Coachman and Daniel Coachman; and her nephew, Alex Buck.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jerry and Mitzii Roughface, Alva and Keri Roughface, Kenneth Roughface, and David Roughface; grandchildren, Rusty, Mikayla, Koby, Lane, Kasi, Randy, and Allyssa; her sister, Louisa Bruner of Wichita, Kansas; her brother, Darrell Coachman and wife Susie; as well as numerous greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services for Lucinda Coachman were held on Saturday, October 25 at 2:00 PM at Wetumka Indian Baptist Church under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home.
