Linda Sue Wagoner passed away peacefully at Sienna in Midwest City, Oklahoma, on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on July 15, 1946, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, Linda was the daughter of James Carril and Pauline (Thurman) Marsh. She grew up in the rural outskirts of Holdenville.

Linda attended Holdenville Public Schools and graduated from Holdenville High School in 1964. After graduation, she began working as a nurse aide. Through continued education and dedication, Linda earned multiple health care certifications and spent her career working in nursing facilities. She was a strong, hardworking woman who always made her patients feel cared for and valued. In 1978, Linda Marsh Leach married Troy Lee Wagoner, and they shared 46 wonderful years together. Linda later moved to Midwest City, Oklahoma, where she continued working in health care, committed to her lifelong passion for helping others.

Outside of work, Linda enjoyed supporting Troy with farm life—helping care for exotic chickens and riding alongside him from pasture to pasture to feed cattle and mend fences. She was known for her gentle spirit, quiet strength, and kind heart.

Linda was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Donna Marie; her beloved husband, Troy Wagoner; her parents, James Carril and Pauline Marsh; her sister, Patricia Robinson; and her brothers, James Marsh and Leeroy Marsh.

She is survived by her son, Billy Gene Leach and his wife Veronica of Moore; stepsons Keith Wagoner and his wife Janice of Choctaw, and Gary Wagoner of Midwest City. She was a proud grandmother to Jessica Guerrero and her husband Dicky of Choctaw, Stephanie Anderson and her husband Aaron of Edmond, Nicole Wagoner of Midwest City, and Persephone Leach and Trevor Peterson. She was also a proud great-grandmother to six: Gracelyn, Tucker, Stella, Jude, Nora, and Evan. Linda is also survived by her siblings, Carrilene Dawson of Pottsboro, Texas, and Robert ‘Bob’ Marsh of Holdenville, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Linda’s shy smile and sweet disposition endeared her to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 18, 2025, at 11:00am, at the Lamar Cemetery with Chaplain Matt Wyatt officiating.

Viewing at the funeral home will be Thursday, April, 17, 2025, from 1:00 to 6:00pm.
