Service Saturday for Lowell Cook

Lowell Cook was born February 22, 1936. He was raised in Wetumka, Oklahoma where he attended school and graduated. After graduation, he joined the United States Army and went to California. In the service, he mastered radar/infrared repair, which took him to Germany for a year. He then completed his military service honorably. He then went on to work at the Sacramento Army depot, from where he retired.

Lowell loved football, the OU Sooners, the 49ers, old cars, good times, and Fireball… anyone who had the honor to know him loved him. He will be dearly missed by all!

He was the loving husband of Mille (Amelia) Cook, father to Corey, Kendalee, Marci, and Shannon. He was a loving grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle to many.

Lowell is preceded in death by many of his loved ones. He was the brother of Jeanette Harrel, Wanda Washburn, Virginia Grove, and Evalina LaValley, and a loving son to Blanche Cook.

Lowell will be laid to rest in Wetumka Cemetery of Wetumka, Oklahoma, in a graveside service with military honors on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 1:00pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Wetumka and Weleetka.
