Service held for Kay Lynn Dunn

Former Holdenville resident Kay Lynn Dunn of Garland, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019.

Kay Lynn was born October 19, 1942 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Charles Bloomfield and Beatrice Lorene Cummins Bloomfield. She graduated from Holden-ville High School Class of 1960.  Kay Lynn married Allen Wayne ‘Skeeter’ Dunn in Lone Grove, Oklahoma.

Kay Lynn owned and operated Helping Hand Companion Sitters providing care givers for those in need. She enjoyed reading, listening to Jimmy Swaggart, taking her grandchildren swimming and spending time with her family. Kay Lynn was ready to see her loved ones in Heaven.

Kay Lynn is survived by her children, Duane and Rebecca Allen of Wapanucka, Devon and Allison Allen of Mesquite, Texas and Lettakay Norman of Garland, Texas; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; sister, Tomaletta and husband Kenny Snyder of Holdenville; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Kay Lynn is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Tommy Allen, Robert Eugene Farmer, Paul Norman and Allen Wayne “Skeeter” Dunn; great-grandchild, baby Mia Davis; sisters Sue Phillips and Barbara Bloomfield; and brother James Ashley Whitener, Jr.

Funeral service was 1:00 p.m. Friday July 5th , at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Holdenville, Oklahoma. Pallbearers were Devon Allen, Duane Allen, Job Davis, Jared Davis and Kenny Snyder.
