Service held for Fred Tom Billy

Fred Tom Billy passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of

74.

Fred was born January 17, 1945 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Thomas Billie Sr. and Elsie Mae McGirt Faulkner.  He attended Holdenville Public Schools. Fred married Mary Ann Fixico on June 18, 1962 in Holdenville.  He was a self-employed plumber by trade.  

Fred served his country in the Army National Guard.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, grandkids, visiting family and always working.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents; two daughters Cynthia Harper and Christine Billy; brothers Raymond McGirt, Samuel Powell, Gary Lynn Faulkner, Ricky Wayne Faulkner, and Larry Faulkner; and sisters Mary Louise Billie and Debra Billie.  

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann; children Doretha Billy of Sapulpa, Randall Billy of Holdenville, and Cheryl Diaz and husband Norberto of Holdenville; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters Lucille Farber of Holdenville, Janie Harjo of Holdenville, Teresa Conley of Chickasha, Lisa Billie of Seminole, Frances Pierce of Seminole, Wanda Coody of Konawa, and Becky Pemberton of Konawa; brothers Thomas Billie Jr. of Shawnee, Lester Billie of Seminole, Danny Billie of Edmond, Dennis Billie of Seminole, Keith Billie of Konawa, Jimcy McGirt of Holden-ville, Danny Faulkner of Wewoka, Terry Faulkner of Holdenville, and Tony Faulkner of Tulsa.  Fred is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Wake service was 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, October 8th , at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service was 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 9th , at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Danny Faulkner officiating and Frank Moppin assisting. Interment followed at Yeager Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Kevin McGirt, Lance Farber, Adam Haney, Blaine Harjo, Norberto Diaz and David Conley.  Honorary pallbearers were Glen Paslay, Linden Keel, Matthew Young, David Paslay and Terry Harper.

Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Holdenville, Oklahoma.
