Donald Eugene (Donnie) LeForce was born October 16, 1950 in Vinita, OK to Eldon Don and Ruthann (Pullum) LeForce and passed away June 26 in Tulsa at the age of 69.

Donnie was raised in Choteau and attended the local school. As a teenager he married Goldie King and they first made their home in Keifer. He began working as a carpenter and it became his lifelong profession. He and Goldie relocated to Earlsboro where they lived several years and where they raised their children.

In 1980 he became a follower of Jesus Christ and soon afterward became an ordained minister in the Free Will Baptist organization. He pastored churches in Earlsboro and Stonewall and for the past 25 years was the lead pastor at the Allen Free Will Baptist Church near Weleetka.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Roy and Gary, and two grandchildren Baby Dee and Lucy Lou.

Survivors include: his wife Goldie of the home; five children, Brandy LeForce Lynch and husband David of San Diego, CA, Shelly of Shawnee, Artyle Don LeForce of Tahlequah, Donnie LeForce, Jr. of Checotah, and Ruthie Dee Gentry and husband Tim of Wewoka; a brother Larry LeForce of Jay; a sister Debbie LeForce of Wagner; a special aunt Vi LeForce of Vinita; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 1, at 2:00 pm at the Allen Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Gentry and Rev. Raymond Coats officiating. Family members served as pallbearers. The services were directed by Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Weleetka and Wetumka.
