Marian Leatrice Berryhill Passes Away

Marian Leatrice Berryhill was born May 13, 1971 in Lawrence, Kansas. The daughter of Robert and Barbara Berry-hill. She was an enrolled member of the Muscogee Creek Nation and Thlopthlocco Tribal Town. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Wetumka, Oklahoma. She graduated from Haskell Indian Nations University with an Associates in Liberal Arts. She was a faithful employee of the Muscogee Creek Nation since 2007.

She grew up in Lawrence, KS attending Haskell Baptist Mission where she made a profession of faith, sang specials for church, and participated in missions. Upon moving to Oklahoma, she became a member of Little Quarsarty Baptist Church in Cromwell, OK. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be remembered by her humor, orneriness, and love of her family.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Barbara Berryhill of Wetumka, OK and her brother Robert Berry-hill Jr. of Lawrence, KS. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Kyle and Kelly Berry-hill of Lawrence, KS, her daughter, Daryn Berryhill of Wetumka, OK, her father, Robert Berryhill of

Wetumka, OK, her brother, Philip Berryhill of Ada, OK, two nieces, Krystal and Tiffany Berryhill of Anadarko, OK and two nephews, William Washington of Pratt, KS and Adam Washington of Tulsa, OK. She is survived by one grandchild: Kyndall Berryhill of Lawrence, KS, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
