Kayla Dawn Harrison, age 34, passed away Friday, February 2nd, 2024 in Wewoka, OK. She was born September 10th, 1989, in Fort Smith, AR to Danny Harrison and Jowetta Phillips (Epperley).

Kayla graduated from Holdenville High School in Holdenville, OK in May of 2008. She was Engaged to her loving fiancé, Joshua Everly, on February 14th. 2021.

Kayla dedicated her life to caring for and raising her beautiful family and fur babies. She brought love, light, and happiness to all who were around her, would do anything to help others and always had words of comfort and love for anyone who needed them, even if they were sometimes a bit sarcastic.

Kayla leaves behind many happy memories with her vast multitude of friends and family, she has touched more hearts and lives than she could have ever realized.

In her spare time Kayla enjoyed crocheting, knitting and many other crafts. She loved all things Nightmare Before Christmas, she could never pass up and good adventure, she loved to dance in the rain, and she dreamed of owning a miniature highland cow, but more than anything she loved her family. She spent her life caring for her sons, her fur babies, and her fiancé.

Kayla is preceded in death by her stepfather, William Phillips, her maternal Grandparents Jody and Rose Epperley, her paternal Grandparents George and Cartha Harrison, and her step Grandmother Anna Phillips.

Kayla is survived by her Mother, Jowetta Phillips of Wewoka, OK, her Father Danny Harrison of Chelsea, OK, her sons Zackary and Jackson McDonald, her fiancé Joshua Everly of Wewoka, OK, her siblings Bethany Branscum (Harrison) of Wewoka, OK, Brandi Phillips of Tulsa, OK, Britten Phillips of Springfield, MO, William Phillips II of Wewoka, OK, and Amellia Dismang of Tulsa, OK. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews; CJ, Delaney, and Tucker Brooking, Landon and Piper Phillips, Killian and Brandon Harrison, Aliyah Branscum, Elora, Breanna, and Kalysta Cleveland and Jeremy Penton. She also leaves her extended family Jim and Michelle McDonald. Kayla is also survived by many other friends, family and loved ones.

Celebration of life services will be held March 2nd, 2:00PM at the Holdenville High School Cafeteria in Holdenville, OK . Kayla loved all things Tim Burton so we’ll be giving her a very Burtonesque send off. We invite you all to join in the celebration and dress for the theme if you like.
