Helen Louise Low

Helen Louise Hill Brown Low was born on October 20, 1946 to parents Lonnie Calvin Hill and Dorothy Hill Umstead.

Helen married Jim Brown after graduation from Wetumka High School on July 10, 1964 at Big Springs Church.

Helen and her mother Dorothy owned and operated a restaurant, “Country Kitchen” in Wetumka for several years. Helen enjoyed cooking, sewing and did a little quilting. She was also a member of the Fairview Cowboy Church.

Helen later married Wilbur Eugene “Gene” Low on September 4, 1997.

Helen is survived by two sons, Richard Allen Brown and spouse Angela Brown, and Billy Brown and spouse Devonna both of Wetumka; one sister, Linda Self and spouse James of Newcastle,Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jody Hardy and spouse Ryan of Missouri, Jacie Brown of Wetumka, Riley Brown and spouse Emma of Seminole, Rowdy Brown and Spouse Caitlyn of Seminole,andKathryn Putchaven; as well as 6 great-grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services for Helen Low will be held Wednesday, August 30 at 1:00 P.M. at Fairview Cowboy Church. Rev. John Roberts will officiate.

Interment will follow at Wetumka Cemetery.
