Dee Pack

Dee Pack was born January 4, 1925, near Weleetka, OK to William Lester Pack and Myrtle Lee (Lancaster) Pack and passed from this life December 6, 2023 at his home east of Wetumka at the age of 98.

Dee grew up in Okfuskee and Hughes County and attended Wetumka School. On April 7, 1956, he married Coleena Skipworth in Holdenville. They made their home east of Wetumka for the past sixty years and he had worked as a carpenter with his brothers all his working life.

Dee and his wife Coleena were devout Christians and were very faithful to the church. While Dee was not an ordained minister, he loved to share his faith, as did Coleena. They also loved to travel together and especially enjoyed their trips to Colorado. Dee liked being outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting game such as turkey and deer. He was also a gifted craftsman and created beautiful pieces from saw blades and carved walking sticks.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Delane and Michael Dee Pack, a grandson Jacob Pack a granddaughter Stephanie Pack Jarvis and his siblings, Lewis, Bertha, Dorothy, Ethal, Joe, Finis, and Bill. Survivors include his wife, Coleena Pack of the home; five grandchildren, Michael, Sharon, Joshua, Robert and Ronald, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-greatgrandchildren; an "adopted daughter" Patsy Morphis of Cromwell; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A funeral service was held at the Spradlin Memorial Chapel at Williamson Funeral Home on Monday, December 11, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Lloyd Cross officiating. Grandsons and greatgrandsons served as pallbearers.
