Charlotte Holcomb Mason Allen was born November 4, 1932 south of Weleetka to Sam Holcomb and Barbara Craig Holcomb and passed from this life April 1, 2022 in Okemah at the age of 89.

Charlotte was raised in the Weleetka area and attended the local school. She later attended nursing school at Valley View in Ada, Oklahoma, graduating in 1962. She spent most of her life in nursing retiring at the age of 69 from Adkins Enterprises. At 65 she learned to operate computers. This meant a great deal to her and it opened a whole new world.

On January 13, 1963 she married William Roger Allen. Together they owned and operated the Allen Chevrolet Company

In her spare time, she enjoyed ceramic artwork and painting.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children Bob Mason, two infant babies, two sisters Ina Jean Holcomb and Joy Slack and her husband James, two brothers, Ted Holcomb and Rev. Earl Holcomb, along with her husband William Roger Allen who died November 17, 2007 and her son Mark Edwin Mason on July 13, 2018.

Survivors include: her son Michael Lewis Mason of Weleetka; a granddaughter Fawna, a great-grandchild, three nieces, a nephew, along with other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Weleetka with Rev. Robert Bray, pastor, and Rev. Donnie Williamson officiating. Pallbearers were Gerrol Adkins, Dean Adkins, Greg Ogle, Billy Brown, James Newman, and Terry Gay. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Brown and James Brown. Interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Weleetka and Wetumka.
