Carson William Smith

The family of Carson William Smith is heartbroken to announce his passing on March 4, 2024, at his home, surrounded by loved ones. Carson blessed his family with 90 wonderful years.

He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Millikin, Ginger Stafford, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren that adored him. He is proceeded in death by his loving wife, Francis Smith, his sons Terry, Randall Michael and his daughter, Margo Berool.

Carson was born on November 10, 1933, to the parents of Carson and Della Smith. He was a longtime resident of Bristow, Oklahoma. Carson moved to California in 1949 where he met his wife, Francis Smith, and they married on April 4, 1953, till her passing. They were married for 69 wonderful years. They had six children: Randall, Teri, Brenda Ginger, Michael, and Margo. Carson was a farmer all of his life. After retirement he and Francis returned to Oklahoma and enjoy their retirement years in Weleetka, Oklahoma.

Carson was a devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with family hunting fishing and gardening. Family gatherings with fresh food from his hunting trips and garden was a weekend must. He was a man, a few words, but his beautiful, blue eyes, warm, hugs, and quality time with his family, told his family everything they needed to know. When his family told him, "I love you," he always replied, "Me too." Carson's graveside service will be Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2:00pm at Wetumka Cemetery in Wetumka Oklahoma. Pastor Brad Campbell will officiate. The viewing will be 12-1pm for family and open to friends from 1pm to 8pm. The family will gather from 6pm to 7pm for friends and family to express their condolences. The family will gather after the service to celebrate Carson‘s life and share fond memories.
