Barbara Sue Morrison passed from this earth into the arms of her Savior on Thursday, February 17, 2022 in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 70.

Barbara was born April 12, 1951 in Searcy, Arkansas to Randol Alvin Ramsey and Bertie Irene (Riddings) Ramsey. Barbara attended Spaulding and Holdenville schools. She married Jimmy Jesse Morrison on June 22, 1966. They have resided in Holdenville most of their lives. They had three children: James Randol Morrison, Donald Ray Morrison, and Luke James Morrison. Barbara enjoyed years of working alongside her husband in their business, Morrison Plumbing, and also at various local establishments. Nanny Barbara is remembered for her selflessness, kind smile, compassion for her family, and love for our Savior.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Randol & Bertie Ramsey; a son, James Randol; two infant siblings, three brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Jimmy Morrison, of the home; two children: Donald and wife Amy of Holdenville, and Luke and wife Deidra of Sallisaw; eleven grandchildren: T. J. Morrison, Mikayla Morrison, Hunter Morrison, Hannah Delozier and husband Gary, Michael Morrison, Josh Morrison, Nathan Russell, Alea Russell, Elijah Russell, Jerry Grindell, and Shiloh Grindell; three great-grandchildren: Ellie jay, Scarlett Russell, and Raider Wells; one sister, Ann Perkins of Seminole, and six brothers: Ray Ramsey and wife Patricia of Griffithville, Arkansas, Nelson Ramsey and Brenda of Noble, George Ramsey of Norman, Morris Ramsey and wife Margaret of Mississippi, Bill Ramsey of McLoud, and Bobby Ramsey of Ada; brother-in-law Chuck Burrell; various other family members and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, 4:00 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Home-Lillye Chapel, and Barbara was laid to rest at Holdenville Cemetery, with Pastor Luke Morrison officiating. Pallbearers were T. J. Morrison, Nathan Russell, Hunter Morrison, Gary Delozier, Michael Morrison, and Josh Morrison. Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Don Smith and Michael Self. www.fisherfh.net
