The Optimist Club of Wichita, Kansas presented Clifford Normore, formerly of Clearview, Oklahoma, the President’s Citation of Outstanding Optimist Club Member of 2021 – 2022, the highest honor bestowed to an individual member of the organization. The citation reads: “In the history of every Club, there is one Member said to embody the spirit and essence of Optimism, who has been the Club’s inspiration, and has contributed in an exceptional way to the advancement of Optimism in theClub and the community. The Presidents’s Citation is bestowed upon an individual who has demonstrated an exception dedication; care and love of the Club, Club Members, District, and Optimist International. In recognition of this remarkable service, I commend and bestow this Outstanding Club Member President’s Cition upon Clifford Normore.” Patsy Garner, 2021 – 2022 Optimist International President Normore has been a member for thirty-three years and has brought in over thirty new members to the organization. The Optimist International is a worldwide volunteer organization made up of more than 2,500 local Clubs whose members work each day to make the future brighter by bringing out the best in children, in their communities, and in themselves.
