The Nero family is extremely proud of their granddaughter Jordan Blades (Glenpool) and niece Anneca Anderson and nephew Isaiah Willis (both of Shawnee) for making it to the high school state 5A track meet in Ardmore on May 16 and Makai Blades of Pittsburg State for nationals at Allendale, Michigan. Jordan Blades qualified for the 100, 200, 400 and 800-relays. Anneca Anderson qualified for the shot and Isaiah for the 100. Makai qualified for the 400-relay. Jada Blades is in Glenpool elementary and will have field day next week. She says she is going to participate in every race and win them all, including the boy’s races. Go Jada.
