There were just four of us, so we all got to ride in Glenda’s pickup truck. We had a good visit on the way down there talking about what we had done since we last saw each other. Ole Red’s is a nice place to visit. And don’t forget the bathrooms as they put some neat ideas into it. Morris McLane was playing the guitar and singing some country songs from the 80’s. We had a table right up front, so we really got to enjoy his singing. Since there were only four of us, Cindy McDaniel had brought four prizes and we all got one. I got a vanilla candle, a silver necklace and matching earrings, hand sanitizer, and lots of chocolate that was scattered on the table. Thank you, Cindy! Glenda Stinson had brought a beautiful fall centerpiece with gold metal pumpkins placed around it. It was awesome! After we ate our delicious meal of catfish and chicken fried steak, we had our picture made with Morris. He was a super nice guy! If you ever get a chance, please go see him. It was worth the trip!
