He celebrated one day earlier with his hometown friends and family in front of Wanda Jean’s Uptown restaurant. Everyone in attendance sang happy birthday and ate cupcakes in his honor.
Read moreIn January 2022, Clearview received a $50,000 REAP grant to repair the old school gym roof and rafters and the rock wall surrounding the school grounds. The WPA rock wall, known to the school kids as “the walk,” served as a running wall for the kids. Before school, recess, and after school, the children ran that walk. Throughout the years, the wall fell into disrepair in several places with gaps of knock down rocks and missing sections. Now, “the walk” looks as it did when first constructed.
