Caleb promised Dollie’s mother Dollie Golden that he would bring his new bride back to visit her every year on her birthdate of September 1st. He kept his promise. The return trip eventually evolved into a family reunion of Goldens coming together to celebrate Dollie’s return which was held at Grandma Golden’s country home with homemade ice cream and cake.
