Read more4 cups chopped apples 2 cups flour ¾ cups white sugar 2 tsp. baking soda ¾ cups brown sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1 tsp. cinnamon ½ cup oil 1 tsp. salt Mix apples and sugars in bowl, then add eggs, slightly beaten and oil. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Then add to apple mixture, a little at a time, until it's all gone. Then add ½ cup chopped nuts and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Grease and flour pan, 11 x 8 x 2 or 9 x 9. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
