Demi Marie Skeen

Demi Marie Skeen was born on December 26, 2023. Just as Demi was finding her precious little voice, it was taken back from us. While we sit and wonder why the earth still moves, we remain eternally grateful for God’s greatest gift-the 123 days spent with her. 123 days of big eyes full of adoration for her daddy. 123 days of gummy smiles at her big sister. 123 days being bathed in the purest form of love by her mommy. Though we attempt to wrest satisfaction from those 123 days, we will never stop missing the baby of the world.

Demi left behind her parents: Selina and Tyler Skeen, her loving big sister Luna Skeen and of course Chico Skeen.

Demi Marie was preceded in death by her grandmother Talaesa Ladd, her great grandmother Eva Rivera, great grandfathers Dale Ladd and Bill Ringle and her great grandparents Joyce & Ernie Zellner.

She is also survived by her beautiful supportive grandparents: Eva Cortez, Chad & Pam Skeen. Her great-grandparents Mae Ree & Ralph Hunter and Shirley Ringle. Her stubbornly loving uncles: Richard Cortez, Josh Faulkner, Agustin Cardoza, Cody Garner, Gary Skeen, Cory Skeen and Aidan Mason. Her amazingly loyal aunts: Tina Cortez, Marisela Carranza, Stephanie Dority, Sonia Faulkner, Mayra Lopez, Kristin Skeen, Kylie Garner, Chloe Skeen and Vanessa Cardoza. Her rambunctious precious cousins: Joey Cortez, Brooklyn O’Bryant, Madilyn Cortez, Isaiah Randall, Isabella Cortez, Ben Hickman, Malakai Faulkner, Marvel Faulkner, Mina Faulkner, Meeka Faulkner, Jettson Pack, Cole Garner and Luka Cardoza.

Pallbearers are Richard Cortez, Agustin Cardoza, Gary Skeen, Cory Skeen, Cody Garner and Aidan Mason.

A funeral service to honor the life of sweet Demi will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday May 9, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Holdenville, OK.

Interment will be Private Family Only.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
