Wanda Sue “Non” Moore passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Holdenville General Hospital in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 87.

NonwasbornJuly13,1936 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Wilcy Brittain and Ona Mae (Edwards) Brittain. Sue attended Holdenville Public School. She married Charles Earl Moore on April 4, 1953 in Van Buren, Arkansas. Non was a cook at the Holdenville Public School for many years. She was owner of Sue’s Snack Shack.

Non was a member of Penn West Baptist Church and she was the oldest living church member. Non loved her family, cooking, baking, sewing and fishing.

She also loved her time at Eufaula Lake, going to the river and the sand buggy.

Non is preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles; daughter Debra Hull; and nine siblings.

She is survived by her son Danny Moore of Holdenville; five grandchildren, Jennifer Roberts and husband

Daniel, Leigh Ann Canfield and husband Justin, April Massad and husband Eric, Shan Moore, and Allyson Burden; greatgrandchildren, Brittain Valdez, Hannah North, Marie Carolina, Faith Dockery, Micah Dockery, Brodey Massad, Roman Burden, and Evertt Burden; nine great-greatg randchildren; and sibling Eldon Brittain and wife Lorrie of Holdenville.

Viewing will be 3:00pm to 7:00pm, Tuesday, April 16th, and 9:00am to 7:00pm, Wednesday, April 17th, at Hudson Phillips Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Thursday, April 18th, with Pastor David Pope officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are Eldon Brittain, Billy Weaver, Shan Moore, Daniel Roberts, Barney Brittain, Justin Canfield, Ronnie Smith and Johnny Weaver.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
